3 Pillars of Sustainable Development
Economic sustainability
We are voluntarily signing a performance agreement in partnership with the Energy Agency for the Economy (AEnEc), in order to improve our energy efficiency and reduce our CO2 emissions through concrete energy-saving measures, meet legal requirements, receive financial support, and improve our environmental performance.
Social Sustainability
We participate in the Swisstainable sustainability program and are rated at Level III—Leading. We closely monitor sustainability initiatives and thereby make a concrete contribution to sustainable tourism in Switzerland.
One of the criteria for our logistics and supply chain is geographical proximity to our suppliers which benefits us in terms of delivery times, exchange rate fluctuations, and cost savings such as customs clearance fees, import duties, and VAT.
Environmental Sustainability
"It involves adopting practices aimed at reducing significant impacts on the ecosystem, such as minimizing waste, managing resources effectively, and reducing pollutant emissions." Did you know?According to RMS (Remontées Mécaniques Suisses), "ski lifts account for only 0.24% of Switzerland's total energy consumption. Added to this is 0.10% for artificial snowmaking, for a total energy consumption of 0.34%."
